Corporate Giving
Investing in one of Wilmington's great cultural organizations

Founders' Circle | Maestro's Circle | Composer's Circle | Soloist's Circle
Concertmaster's Circle | Principal Players' Circle
Musicians' Circle | Sustainers' Circle | Donors' Circle

Corporate giving is a clear endorsement of the important role the Wilmington Symphony plays in the vitality of cultural life across southeastern North Carolina through its classical and pops concerts and youth education programs.

The Wilmington Symphony is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and contributions are tax-deductible. For outright corporate contributions, the benefits associated with each giving level have no cash value and therefore do not dilute the tax-deductible amount of the gift.

To make a corporate gift to the Wilmington Symphony online, click on the "Donate Now" button or call the Wilmington Symphony business office at 791-9262.

As an alternate to strictly philanthropic donations, some businesses prefer "cause-related marketing" support that sponsorships and underwriting provide. Depending on the specific sponsorship or level of underwriting support, the Wilmington Symphony will customize an array of benefits to meet your organization's needs.

Did you know . . .?

Ticket revenue alone covers less than half the expenses of concert production and performance. Like virtually every other performing arts organization, our Wilmington Symphony also relies upon contributions, sponsorships and underwriting, and grants to fill the income gap between ticket revenue and expenses.

For that reason, the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra seeks the support of business partners equally committed to its target audience and who will genuinely benefit from associating with those patrons. Our Wilmington Symphony is unique and local and that same uniqueness is reflected in those companies or businesses who find in our demographics thoughtful, value-oriented, affluent or moderately so, highly mobile and, most importantly, extremely loyal.

An investment in the Wilmington Symphony also yields returns for businesses by helping to build a vibrant quality of life necessary for an economically strong community to attract and retain businesses and residents.
