Financial support for the orchestra is derived from ticket sales, sponsorships and underwriting, corporate and private contributions, grants, and special fundraising events such as the annual golf tournament.
Did you know that approximately 50% of the actual costs of concert admission is provided for by individual and corporate contributors, sponsors and underwriters? This generosity helps make Wilmington Symphony concerts so affordable and also helps support the array of youth education programs throughout the year.
Individuals and companies can contribute to the Wilmington Symphony Annual Fund, or may want to consider sponsorships and underwriting to create a tangible connection with an important and iconic local cultural organization with its own 42-year track record of exceptional programmatic success and sound fiscal stewardship.
