On Saturday December 3, 2011 at 8:00 p.m., and again on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dr. Steven Errante presents two delightful holiday celebrations.
The Wilmington Symphony performs Christmas classics, and accompanies both the Girls' Choir of Wilmington in songs of Hanukkah and Christmas, and the Williston Alumni Community Choir in an exhilarating Gospel Christmas!
Both performances take place in Kenan Auditorium on the UNCW campus, and on Sunday the performance is reprised at a family-friendly afternoon hour for the delight of the kids and grandkids.
Steven Errante is in his 25th season as Conductor of the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Errante will also provide a concert preview for twenty minutes starting at 7:00 p.m. just prior to the Saturday evening performance, sharing background about the composer along with his insights into some pre-recorded highlights of the music to be performed.
